Too Much Caffeine = Blog Posting at Midnight

October 22, 2007 | Author: Donna Quarles Studio & Gallery | Filed under: recent sessions

So although I have taken over a great, thiving business and having ran my own studio for years, I still feel like a startup who needs to prove herself. So after too many Sonic teas today and the inability to fall asleep, I decided to get online and post a sampling of some of my recent sessions.

Seniors have always been my first love - so here are a few recent ones:

And for something that quickly became my passion, babies and children. I hope to get more in soon:

Speaking of children! We are now taking appointments for our Christmas special. It will run for ONE WEEK - the week following Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a special time for our family for several reasons - My husband and I have gone to the Cowboys game almost every year since we were engaged, with a couple of exceptions. The birth of our daughter the week before one year. Then there was the year my mother in law had her first brain tumor removed the day before Thanksgiving, then last year we stayed home to spend one last Thanksgiving with her.

The Cowboys do an awesome half time show at their game which kicks off the Christmas Season for the Salvation Army. This year we are going to participate in helping out those less fortunate. I have a couple of families in mind to help, but the majority of our donations will go to the Salvation Army here locally.

SO - in lieu of a session fee, please bring a bag of nonperishable food items, a new coat or toy for a child or monetary donations. The SA will appreciate any of these items I’m sure.

We will have 3 indoor sets for children as well as offering an outdoor mini-session for families. One set per family please. Packages start at $50 and Christmas cards will be available, we have some fabulous designs available! Stop by the studio
to check them out in advance.

So call to reserve your appointment soon! 936.699.2012.

Also, be sure to sign up for our newsletter (see a post farther down) - as we will be sending out our first edition soon and will have some special contest and giveaways in it.
